Abstract:
PURPOSE:To increase a dynamic pressure effect and to improve a bearing rigidity, by providing exhaust holes, which are connected to the air, in pockets which are separated in the axial direction by a rand part standing between the two pockets. CONSTITUTION:Small rand parts 15b and 16b, between which and an outer circumference of a shaft member 13 a minor space is provided, are projectedly positioned in line in the circumferential direction and are located at the inside of two pockets which are separated in the axial direction by a rand part 17 positioning on the boundary between the two pockets. Exhaust holes 25 and 26 are bored at the center of the small rand parts 15b and 16b. And thus, an exhaust system of the pockets 15 and 16 are constituted. A feeding passage 24 is connected to a pressured fluid source(not shown), and exhaust grooves 22, 23 and exhaust ports 25, 26 are connected to exhaust passages 27 and 28, and the fluid is returned to an oil tank(not shown). And thus, since no compressed air caused by air engulfing force exists at the rand part 17 being a power generating part, a dynamic effect can be improved eminently.
