Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent seizure, deterioration of rotational accuracy, and damage by removing a part of a bearing surface which is to be in contact to a member composing a rotor due to the deformation caused by rotation of the rotor.
CONSTITUTION: A tapered part 12 is formed on an end of a porous body 5 fitted to a housing 3. A position which starts the tapering corresponds to a range wherein abrupt deformation is generated due to high speed rotation of a rotor 2. The rotor 2 does not touch a bearing face 5a of the porous body 5 even under the high speed rotation, so that seizure, deterioration of rotational accuracy, and damage of the end of the porous body are prevented.
