Abstract:
PURPOSE:To achieve complete and uniform fluidization regardless of the performance of a dispersion device by providing in a fluidized layer a fluidity control element which forms a non-fluidized section enclosed by a solid wall and generating a powdered body jet flow with a speed much higher than the ascending speed of air in the layer at an arbitrary position and in an arbitrary direction. CONSTITUTION:A fluidity control element 2 has a porosity epsilonC that is larger than the porosity epsilonF of the whole fluidized layer 1 and the ratio of the area AC of the opening at the bottom and the area AN of the opening at the upper section has a relation: AN/AC>=1. At the opening of the bottom section of the fluidity control element 2 a net is provided to prevent the intrusion of particles into the element and maintain the porosity epsilonC large. The fluid that is introduced into the fluidity control element 2 gains its speed in the element 2, and it is jetted out as a powder jet flow with a speed that is much higher than the speed of the ascending of the air to the non-fluidized areas or to areas where the fluidization is not active to fluidize those areas completely or it is jetted out into the fluidized areas and promotes their fluidization.
