This scroll type fluid compressing machine A (fluid compressing machine) has a scroll compressing mechanism C (fluid compressing means) and a discharge chamber 16 for discharging the fluid compressed by the scroll compressing mechanism C while having a pressure fluctuation component, and discharges the fluid from the discharge port 41a formed in the discharge chamber 16. An extension part 41 is so protrusively formed as to extend a part of the inside wall of the discharge chamber 16 inward, and the discharge port 41a is formed at its tip. The position of the discharge port 41a is used as the node of an acoustic resonance mode due to the pressure fluctuation of the fluid in the discharge chamber 16.
