This fluid conduit opening speed restriction valve 25 includes: a valve housing 27 connected to a fluid conduit 20; a valve element 29 journalled inside the valve housing 27, receiving a flow pressure of fire-fighting water flowing through the fluid conduit 20, and turning from a valve closing position 29a to a valve opening position 29b; and a resistance impartment mechanism 31 imparting resistance to a turn operation from the valve closing position 29b to the valve opening position 29a. The resistance impartment mechanism 31 includes: a rotated drive mechanism 39 interlocking with the turn of the valve element 29; an attenuation mechanism 40 having an engagement means expanding and contracting interlockingly with it, and filled with a resistance fluid; a resistance fluid conduit connecting chambers 45, 46 of the attenuation mechanism 40; and a flow rate restriction part connected to the resistance fluid conduit.
