Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a fluid control circuit for a fluid type retarder device which has satisfactory efficiency as an auxiliary brake for a running vehicle.
CONSTITUTION: Fluid control circuits 27, 29 for a torque converter and fluid control circuits 28, 31 for a fluid retarder are parallelly arranged between a safety valve 26 and a heat exchanger 13. Changeover valves 16 are arranged on the sides of inlets 27, 28 of fluid control circuits, while drain valves 30 are arranged on their sides of outlets 29, 31.
