When a vehicle is made to be comparatively low in speed, working oil of specified hydraulic pressure is supplied to a cylinder chamber B through an oil path 43 for clutch control (43a, 43b), the lock-up clutch 13 has specified torque capacity, the torque is transmitted directly to a turbine hub 30, and hydraulic pressure to be supplied to the cylinder chamber B is properly governed.
