Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly carry out connection/disconnection between a socket main body and a plug main body by forming a folded part in the connection part between a sleeve and the base end of a claw member in a fluid coupling in which the claw member is engaged in a recess part of the plug main body when the plug main body is inserted into the socket main body.
SOLUTION: When an insertion cylinder part 12 of a plug main body P is inserted into a connection cylinder part 4 of a socket main body S, a circular arc upper part 12a in the insertion cylinder part 12 collides against a claw part 8 of a claw member (n) at first, and when the insertion cylinder part 12 is pushed into the connection cylinder part 4 further, a sleeve 5 is moved against a compression spring 6 by means of the pushing force, while the claw part 8 is retracted from a guide hole 10 at the same time. If the insertion cylinder part 12 is pushed into the connection cylinder part 4 to the further extent, the claw part 8 is dropped in a recess part 13. In this process, as a U-shaped folded part 7 is arranged in the connection part between the claw member (n) and the sleeve 5, the folded part 7 can be bent easily when the sleeve 5 is slid, so that the sleeve 5 can be slid smoothly.
