PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid damper device capable of suppressing lowering and dispersion of a load generated in rotating a rotating shaft in a direction to bring a valve element in a closed state, and an apparatus with a damper, and a western-style toilet unit.SOLUTION: In a fluid damper device 10, a first rib 261 projecting toward a body portion 41 of a rotating shaft 40 is extended in a direction of axis L at a first end face 231 of a partitioning convex portion 23 projecting to a radial inner side from an inner peripheral face 220 of a cylindrical portion 22 of a case 20. Further on the first end face 231, a second rib 262 projecting toward the body portion 41 is extended in the direction of axis L at a position separating in the circumferential direction from the first rib 261. Thus a clearance between the partitioning convex portion 23 and the body portion 41 of the rotating shaft 40 can be filled by the first rib 261 or the second rib 262 even when a situation that a concentric state of the case 20 and the rotating shaft 40 is slightly deviated due to an elliptical cross-sectional shape of the cylindrical portion 22 caused by shrinkage and the like in formation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
