Abstract:
PURPOSE: To generate pulsated flow by accommodating a spherical moving element in a chamber equipped with an inlet and an outlet, and moving the moving element in response to the motion of a fluid in the chamber.
CONSTITUTION: Water fed from the service water mains or a reservoir device is passed through a liquid passage 14 installed in a handpiece 12 and spouted from an inlet 16 into a chamber 13. In response to the jet flow from the inlet 16, a moving element 18 repeats motions of shutting the outlet 17, and pulsated flow is fed to an outflow passage 15 and spouted out of a nozzle 10. This allows acquiring pulsated flow simply and structuring small due to simple mechanism.
