To provide a fluid dispersion production apparatus and a fluid dispersion production method for producing fluid dispersion in which fine droplets of other liquid with a uniform particle size is dispersed in liquid by discharging fine droplets of the other liquid into the liquid using a discharge technology of an inkjet system.

Fine droplets of oil are discharged into water in a pool 15 from a discharge head 12 via a gas phase to form fluid dispersion with oil droplets of a uniform size dispersed therein. Generation of a laminar flow in water in the pool 15 prevents gathering of multiple oil droplets in water in the pool 15 to thereby provide preferable monodispersed fluid dispersion.
