To provide a fluid dust collector which can maintain a stable collection operation for a long time, and improve the reliability of dust collection operation.
The fluid dust collector has a driving means 14 for moving the contact part 10 of a washing means 8 having the contact part 10 removing collected material caught by a collection means 7, relatively against the collection means 7. A space part 11 in which the contact part 10 is not disposed is installed in the washing means 8 to form a fluid passage 12 between it and the collection means 7. In such a constitution, the washing means 8 is slid by the driving means 14 to remove the stuck collected material and to recover the dust collection performance, which enables the maintenance of the stable collection operation for a long time and to improve the reliability of the dust collection operation. The penetrated fluid is distributed to the whole region of the collection means 7 by the space part 11 of the washing means 8 to effectively use the whole region of the collection means 7, which enables the reduction of fluid flow resistance and the downsizing of the device.
