Abstract:
To provide a fluid dynamic pressure bearing which enables the simpler and inexpensive manufacture of a surface structure in the bearing.
The fluid dynamic pressure bearing is provided with at least two bearing components which form the bearing clearance filled with a bearing fluid between mutually adjoining bearing surfaces, and which can relatively rotate with each other. The surface structure is provided to generate fluid dynamic pressure in the bearing clearance when the bearing components relatively rotate, and to act on bearing fluid. A film arranged in the bearing clearance is provided as a support of the surface structure in the fluid dynamic pressure bearing.
