Abstract:
To provide a fluid ejector which can prevent environmental contamination inside an apparatus.
The fluid ejector includes a fluid ejecting head which ejects a fluid towards a first region, and a fluid holding member which is set in a second region different from the first region and holds the fluid discharged from the fluid ejecting head. The fluid holding member has a plurality of plate-like members superposed in a predetermined direction, and one or more through-holes formed in each of the plate-like members to pass the liquid. This fluid holding member is used in the fluid ejection.
