Title:
FLUID FILLED ENGINE MOUNT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2008202779
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a fluid filled engine mount having such novel construction that a valve means for selectively functioning a first or second orifice passage with less power consumption can be compactly formed while suppressing an increase in the size of the mount.

On a fluid flow path in the second orifice passage 108, a valve element 102 and a wall portion 66 are provided overlapping each other in a mutually abutting condition with the energizing force of an energizing means 110 to form communication holes 68, 106 in the abutting portions 66, 102 of the valve element 102 and the wall portion 66 where they do not overlap each other. In the overlapping condition of the valve element 102 and the wall portion 66 with the energizing means 110, the communication holes 68, 106 are both closed to put the second orifice passage 108 into a shut-off condition. On the other hand, by isolating the valve element 102 from the wall portion 66 with the energization of a coil 116, the communication holes 68, 106 are communicated with each other to put the second orifice passage 108 into a communicated condition.
