Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make the combustion of oil in an internal combustion engine hard to generate by suppressing the generation of air bubbles in a filter machine by providing an operation valve selectively separating the fluid passing through a filter element to an emitting passage from the midway of the flow passage of the filter element by pressure-responding operation in a pressure set value.
CONSTITUTION: The oil passing through a filter element 14 gradually to fall is monitored in its pressure through a through-hole 44 on the way of the flow passage in the filter element 14 and, when the pressure of the oil exceeds a set value determined on the basis of the pressure in a center pipe 11 and the spring quantity of springs 46a, 46b, operation valves 45a, 45b are opened and the oil is allowed to flow to an emitting passage in the center pipe 11 from the midway of the flow passage through the through-hole 44. That is, the slide type operation valves 45a, 45b opening and closing the through-hole 44 are provided and the through-hole 44 is opened by the operation valves 45a, 45b at the time of the instantaneous rise in oil pressure. By this constitution, when the number of rotations of an engine rises suddenly, an instantaneous oil pressure shock can be absorbed and the generation of air bubbles in oil is suppressed.
