PURPOSE: To uniform the density of the mixture of fuel vapor and air by a mechanism wherein a ring form throttle plate is provided in the downstream of sump of a pot-type burner with burner cylinder positioned horizontally, and by blocking the down part in the opening of the throttle plate with semicircular blind patch.
CONSTITUTION: A burner cylinder 2 is horizontally positoned is built inside the housing 1 forming air blowing chamber 12 with a built-in fan 13 at one end. The air blowing chamber 12 side is blocked by end plate 3, while the other side is opened, and an air passage 5 is formed inbetween the housing 1 and the burner cylinder 2. Sump 6 is provided in the vicinity of the end plate 3 located at the bottom of the burner cylinder 2, with fuel pipe 7 being connected at the bottom of the sump 6; and the primary air vent 10 and the secondary air vent 11 are provided at the upstream and the downstream of fuel flow respectively. Flame holding plates 22 and 24 of disk form are also provided at the fuel flow downstream. Inbetween the flame holding plate 22 and the sump 6, a ring form throttle plate 17 consisted of the flange 18 and the sleeve 19 is disposed, while a semicircular blind plate 21 is disposed at the down part side of the circular opening 20 located inside of the sleeve 19.
