The fluid heating tank device using exhaust heat fluid exhausted from the heat source machine 12 for heating the fluid to be heated has a storage tank body 16 with a heated fluid inlet 18 and a heated fluid outlet 22 at the lower part and at the upper part, respectively, for storing the heated fluid. It comprises an upper heat exchanger 26 and a lower heat exchanger 28 provided in the fluid storage tank body at its upper part and at its lower part, respectively. The fluid outlet of the heat source machine is connected to one fluid port of the upper heat exchanger via a delivery pipe 30, a fluid return port of the heat source machine is connected to one fluid port of the lower heat exchanger via a return pipe 32, and the other fluid port of the upper heat exchanger is connected to the other fluid port of the lower heat exchanger via a direct coupling pipe 34. The exhaust heat fluid passes through the lower heat exchanger after passing through the upper heat exchanger.
