A fluid-hydraulic cylinder includes a cylinder body 4 formed of a rod cover 2 and a head cover 3 provided at both ends of a cylinder tube 1. A piston 5 for partitioning a cylinder chamber to a front side room 6a and a rear side room 6b in the cylinder body 4 is housed to be able to be axially reciprocating. A supply and exhaust hole 11 opened at the rear side chamber 6b is formed at the piston rod 7, and a supply and exhaust rod 12 formed with a supply and exhaust passage 15 engaged with the supply and exhaust hole 11 and communicating with the supply and exhaust hole 11 is mounted at the head cover 3. In the supply and exhaust hole 11, a channel shut-off valve 18 for shutting off the communication of the supply and exhaust passage 15 with the rear side chamber 6b in response to the axial position of the piston rod 7 is provided. A main supply and exhaust port 10 of the rear side chamber is opened at the rear side room 6b, and a sub-supply and exhaust port 16 for the rear side chamber communicates with the supply and exhaust hole 11.
