To provide a fluid interlacing treatment nozzle, a fluid jet nozzle having a yarn treatment section and a fluid jet port via which a fluid is jetted on a traveling filament yarn, in the case of its integrated structure type, needing no realization of any strict processing accuracy for centering the yarn treatment section and the fluid jet port, while in the case of its assembly type, needing no strict adjustment for centering the yarn treatment section and the fluid jet port, in either case, strictly demanding no high making accuracy, in its turn, enabling high-quality fluid interlaced yarns to be produced stably even if the strict centering adjustment and high nozzle making accuracy, etc. are not accomplished, and to provide a fluid interlacing treatment method using the nozzle.
The fluid treatment nozzle has the yarn treatment section formed of a yarn traveling groove and the fluid jet port opened at the yarn treatment section and functioning to jet a fluid on a traveling filament yarn. In this nozzle, the width Wa of the fluid jet port is larger than the width Wb of the yarn treatment section in the cross section of the yarn treatment section orthogonal to the yarn traveling direction axis of the yarn treatment section and passing the intersection between the jet direction axis of the fluid jet port and the yarn traveling direction axis of the yarn treatment section.
