To propose a fluid jet apparatus which prevents generation of defects such as clogging of jet openings of a head by having the capping capability surely obtaining predetermined sealability in the fluid jet apparatus which prints on both faces simultaneously.
In the fluid jet apparatus 100 having fluid jet heads 31 and 32 which jet a fluid from a plurality of nozzles to a fluid jet material P that moves in a conveyance route 2, the fluid jet heads 31 and 32 consist of the front-side head 31 which jets the fluid to the front surface p1 of the material P, and the rear-side head 32 which is opposite to the front-side head 31 via the conveyance route 2 and jets the fluid to the rear surface p2 of the material P. The front-side head 31 and the rear-side head 32 are configured to be able to adhere in a state with respective fluid jet surfaces 31a and 32a opposed to each other.
