Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect deterioration of a sealing function in a seal area in a fluid pressure device before fluid leaks to the outside.SOLUTION: In a main seal 13 for sealing a rod side chamber 5 to which the fluid pressure is applied, a fluid leakage detector 100 for detecting fluid leakage includes: a first load detecting unit 21 for detecting a first load acting on the main seal 13; a second load detecting unit 22 for detecting a second load acting on a sub seal 14 for sealing the rod side chamber 5 at a position outside the main seal 13 with respect to the rod side chamber 5; and a determination unit 32 for determining fluid leakage of the main seal 13 on the basis of the first load and the second load.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
