PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid machine, a cooling tower and a speed change gear, which suppress a temperature rise of a magnetic material included in the speed change gear using magnetic force.SOLUTION: A speed change gear 13 has: a first rotor 14 connected to a driving machine 11 and having a magnet in which magnetic poles are arranged alternately in a circumferential direction to generate magnetic force at an outer periphery; a second rotor 15 connected to an impeller 12, having a magnet in which magnetic poles are arranged alternately in the circumferential direction to generate magnetic force at an inner periphery, and circumferentially surrounding the first rotor; a housing 16 surrounding the second rotor in the circumferential direction; a plurality of magnetic bodies 17-1, 17-6 arranged at intervals in a radial direction between the first rotor and the second rotor, arranged at intervals from one another in the circumferential direction, and connected to the housing; and a barrel pipe 31 expanded at an end at an impeller side and surrounding the housing at an interval in the circumferential direction. Fluid transferred by the impeller passes through a space enclosed by an external surface of the housing and the internal surface of the barrel pipe.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
