To provide fluid machinery and its manufacturing method for preventing wear and seizure of sliding parts between a cylinder block and a vale plate with incredibly simple means, without adding extra processing man-hours for the rotary-driven cylinder block and the valve plate and therefore without increasing manufacturing man-hours and manufacturing cost.
The fluid machinery comprises: a plurality of cylinders formed in the rotary-driven cylinder block; pistons reciprocating in the cylinders; and the disc valve plate brought into slide-contact with an end face of the cylinder block and having a high pressure port and a low pressure port which selectively communicate to the inside of the cylinders by the rotation of the cylinder block or whose communication to the inside of the cylinders is blocked by the rotation of the cylinder block. The valve plate has land parts, each land part includes a slide-contact face brought into slide-contact with the end face of the cylinder block, and a clearance part is formed to the land part by shaving off an edge by a certain shaving amount y and is smoothly connected with the slide-contact face.
