To improve operation efficiency of a fluid machine 20 by restraining reduction in performance of an electric motor 26, in the fluid machine 20 for arranging a compression mechanism 40 on the lower side of the electric motor 26 and opening a delivery pipe 23 on the upper side of the electric motor 26.
An oil-separating mechanism 70 is arranged between the compression mechanism 40 and the electric motor 26 for separating lubricating oil from fluid delivered by the compression mechanism 40. In the fluid delivered by the compression mechanism 40, the lubricating oil included in its fluid is removed by the oil-separating mechanism 70 between the electric motor 26 and the compression mechanism 40, and afterwards, is delivered from a delivery pipe 23 by passing through the electric motor 26.
