To provide a fluid-operated actuator assembly.
A fluid-operated actuator assembly has a bi-stable electromagnetic device 200 for operating a valve 100, which has a first state closing the valve and a second state opening the same, a hydraulic actuator 300 and an electronic control circuit 400. An outlet 120 of the valve 100 is connected to the actuating member 310 for receiving fluid from the fluid source 1 when the valve 100 is opened in order to act upon the actuating member 310 and move the actuating member 310 for operation of the hydraulic actuator 300. The control circuit 400 momentarily energizes the electromagnetic device 200 to change the electromagnetic device 200 from the first state to the second state to enable operation of the hydraulic actuator 300 and subsequently causes the electromagnetic device 200 to return from the second state to the first state to terminate operation of the hydraulic actuator 300.
