Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a fluid oscillation flow meter constructed such that the flow measuring range can be enlarged by stabilizing production of vortex on the downstream side of a columnar target in high and low flow rate regions.
CONSTITUTION: The fluid oscillation flow meter comprises a jet nozzle 2, a columnar target 3, and a throttle section 5 arranged sequentially toward downstream in a flow meter body 1. The columnar target 3 has a front face 3a opposing to the jet nozzle 2 wherein an arched concave face 13 is formed in the front face 3a and curved faces 3d, 3e are formed at the opposite ends of the front face 3a. Radius R1 and width (a) of the concave face 13 are set to satisfy a relation 0.7≤R1/a≤1.2 and the ratio R2/a between the radius R2 of the curved faces 3d, 3e and the width (a) of the front face 3a of the columnar target 3 is set at 0.1 or below.
