Title:
FLUID PRESSURE ACTUATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3191332
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve responsiveness of operation while maintaining reliability of operation and improve responsiveness of operation by determining an electromagnetic opening/closing valve to be operated by a controller, and calculating an operational period of the electromagnetic opening/closing valve according to difference between the present position and target position, and the magnitude of the volume of a pressure chamber.
CONSTITUTION: A first electromagnetic opening/closing valve 14 which opens an atmospheric releasing passage 23, and a second electromagnetic opening/closing valve 15 between a pressure source 13 and the atmospheric releasing passage 23 on the way of a fluid passage 19, and a controller 16 are provided. Operation of the first electromagnetic opening/closing valve 14 and the second electromagnetic opening/closing valve 15 are determined by the controller 16 depending upon the relationship between the present and target positions of a member to be driven. Operational periods of the electromagnetic opening/closing valves are calculated according to the difference between the present and target positions, and the magnitude of the volume of negative pressure chamber 18. This procedure is repeated each synchronized period of time or ever time when target position of the member to be driven is renewed, and the member to be driven is feedback-controlled. Consequently, responsiveness is improved.
