Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid pressure cylinder capable of preventing shortage of cushion oil.SOLUTION: A fluid pressure cylinder 100 comprises: a cushion chamber 3 which is defined between a piston rod 30 and a cylinder tube 10 and decreases in volume according to extension of a fluid pressure cylinder 100; a communication passage 32 which is formed in the piston rod 30 and provides communication between the cushion chamber 3 and a rod inner chamber 2; a throttle passage 33 which is formed below the communication passage 32 and exerts a cushion function by giving resistance to the flow of working fluid from the cushion chamber 3 to the rod inner chamber 2; a check valve 23 which is provided in a piston 20, provides communication between the rod inner chamber 2 and a drive chamber 1 and has a checking function of permitting only the flow of the working fluid from the rod inner chamber 2 to the drive chamber 1; and a pilot passage 24 which is formed in the piston 20 and releases the checking function by introducing pressure in the cushion chamber 3 to the check valve 23 as pilot pressure.
