Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To offer a double cylinder tube structure with axial fluid passages formed between inner and outer tubes, reducing the thickness of the outer tube.
SOLUTION: A pressure fluid supplied from a supply/discharge port 30 is supplied to a head-side cylinder chamber 14 via a communication passage 25, a plurality of fluid passages 7, a circular groove 47, a cutout 6 of the inner tube 3, a circumferential groove 44 and a recessed groove 46 of a head cover body. With the plurality of fluid passages 7 formed, the rate of the fluid to be supplied to the head-side cylinder chamber 14 requires only a flow rate passing through the total sectional area of the plurality of fluid passages 7 and each fluid passage 7 requires a smaller sectional size than a conventional fluid passage 7 which is restricted to only one. The cylinder tube structure of a double tube type reduces the wall thickness of the outer tube 2.
