To provide a fluid-pressure damper where the outer diameter of a bump cap does not exceeds the outer diameter of an outer pipe even if an opening of the outer pipe is caulked.
An outer flange 37 of a cap holder 5 is caught between a rod guide 3 and a curl part 35 of the outer pipe 2, a holding part 34 of the cap holder 5 is projected to the outside of the outer pipe 2, an inner-diameter part 28 of the bump cap 25 is pressed in the holding part 34 of the cap holder 5, and an end face 32 of the bump cap 25 is tightly attached to the curl part of the outer pipe 2. Thereby, even in this fluid pressure damper 1 where an opening of the outer pipe 2 is curled and closed, the bump cap 25 having an outer diameter equal to or smaller than the outer diameter of the outer pipe 2 can be arranged in the opening of the outer pipe 2.
