Title:
FLUID PRESSURE OPERATED PISTON ENGINE ASSEMBLY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3529408
Kind Code:
B
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an assembly including a pressurized fluid valve which efficiently cooperates with an engine for reversing the direction of a motion of an engine driving shaft of a fluid pressure operated piston engine.
CONSTITUTION: This engine assembly 10 is composed of an engine 12 and a fluid valve 14. The fluid valve 14 includes a valve spool 26 for alternately changing the coupling modes of the pressurizing fluid to a piston chamber 18. The movement is achieved by a moving device rod 82 mounted on the valve spool 26. The moving device rod includes a pair of magnets 100, 108. A fork 86 mounted on an engine driving shaft 22 at one end is limitedly moved between a pair of magnets of the moving device rod 82. The moving device rod 82 and the valve spool 26 are moved from one position to the other position by the interaction between the magnetic flux generated by a magnet 96 supported on the fork and one magnet of the moving device rod 82, and therefore, the flowing direction of fluid to the piston chamber is changed, and the moving directions of the piston and the driving shaft are reversed.
