Abstract:
To provide a fluid pressure reduction device capable of reducing a jet and noise level.
This fluid pressure reduction device comprises a plurality of stacked disks 32 having a perimeter 36 and a hollow center 34 in a longitudinal axis 29 direction. Each disk 32 has at least one flow path 38 extending between the hollow center 34 and the perimeter 36, the flow 38 including an inlet section 40, an outlet section 42 and an intermediate section 44 extending between the inlet section 40 and outlet section 42. Each flow path intermediate section 44 includes pressure reducing structures 74 and 76 and recovery zones 90 and 92 positioned immediately downstream of the pressure reducing structures 74 and 76.
