To provide a fluid pump capable of providing a stable discharge amount even if pressure variation occurs on the side of a suction line and remarkably reducible in size.
An electromagnetically driven plunger pump 600 is employed as this fluid pump for sucking a fuel from the suction line 70 and for discharging the fuel toward a discharge line 80, and a piston valve 612 reciprocating in a direction nearly perpendicular to the axial direction of a plunger 607 is integrally built in the plunger pump 600. Energizing force of a coil spring 619 and pressure of the fuel in the suction line 70 act on the back (the other end side) of the piston valve 612, and force-feed the fuel toward the discharge line 80 when the fuel discharged by the plunger 607 is set at a predetermined pressure or above.
