The fluid pump 90 includes: a housing 91 including an inlet port 91i, an outlet port 91e, and a fluid chamber 91f communicating with the inlet port 91i and the outlet port 91e; a shaft 92 fixed to the housing 91; a rotor 93 including an impeller 93P rotating with respect to the shaft 62 in the fluid chamber 91f, sucking fluid from the inlet port 91i to the fluid chamber 91f, and delivering the fluid from the outlet port 91e. The housing 91 includes fixing portions 91s, 91s' formed of aluminum alloys fixing the shaft 92. The shaft 92 has short-circuit portions 92s, 92s formed of stainless steel having a nitrided layer at a surface thereof and supplying a protective current from the fixing portion by electrically contacting with the fixing portions 91s, 91s', and a support 92p extending from the short-circuit portion to an outer circumference surface, containing carbon as a major component, coated by amorphous carbon film containing silicon, and pivotally supporting the rotor 93.
