PURPOSE: To achieve high productivity and excellent conducting property at low cost by providing a constitution consisting of a splicer body made of plastic material having a male screw part engaged with the female screw part of a target body and a through hole, and a cylinder made of metal disposed in a part of the through hole.

CONSTITUTION: A fluid splicer 1 has a splicer body 14 and a metal cylinder 13. The splicer body 14 is formed of a plastic material such as polyamide resins reinforced by glass fibers, and provided with a male screw 4 screwed into the female screw part of a target body 3 to fluidly connect and a through hole 2 through which a fluid is passed. The metal cylinder 13 is formed of brass and stainless steel and disposed in the through hole 2 by means of insert molding and ultrasonic press fitting. Consequently, inexpensive plastic materials and metal thin plates can be used, and the manufacture by inexpensive and highly productive process can be achieved. Further, the splicer is excellent in durability, heat resistance, and pressure resistance.
