Abstract:

When individual identification information detected by a bar code reader 18 has been recorded in a recorder 22, an alarm message of "used in the past", that is information indicating that the handpiece 2 has been used in the past, is displayed on a monitor 20. Thus, a user is urged to change it with a new handpiece 2. Thus, the reuse of the handpiece 2 used in the past is suppressed.
