Title:
FLUID SUCKING AND DISCHARGING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3826508
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the peak of sound pressure to be generated with the rotation of a rotational member.
SOLUTION: Adjacent angles of blade grooves 24b to be used for a fuel pump are all different from one another. When the total number of blade grooves is taken as (n), the total Sn of the adjacent angles of the continuos adjacent m=n/k (K=2, 3 or 4 and [n/k]+1 of n/k or [n/k]+1 is taken as (m) when n/k is not an integer) blade grooves 24b is determined, the total Sn is determined (n) times while deviating the blade grooves 24b one by one in the circumferential direction from a blade groove 24b, and the total Sa of each time satisfies the expression (360/k)-10≤Sn≤(360/k)+10. Since the blade groove 24b having the adjacent angles are different from one another are irregularly arranged over the whole circumference of an impeller 24, and therefore, the peak of sound pressure to be generated with the rotation of the impeller 24 can be decreased.
