PURPOSE: To provide a part installing apparatus which is made compact, can apply a flux to a substrate to form a screen-like coating while adjusting the applying quantity of the flux and, can supply the flux automatically by providing an installation head of the part installing apparatus with both a part installing function and a flux applying function.

CONSTITUTION: As the viscous fluid in the inside of a syringe 42 decreases, air of an air driving part 600 of a holding hand 60 in a fluid supplying apparatus 6 is sent to close a pair of pinching plates 601, 602 and to pinch the syringe 42. At that time, an approaching sensor 61 proceeds into a recessed part 48 of the syringe 42 and sends out a detection signal. Meanwhile, a fluid spraying nozzle 62 is connected to a check valve 47 of the syringe 42 and sprays a prescribed quantity of the viscous fluid. The sprayed viscous fluid is poured to the syringe 42 through the check valve 47 and elevates a float 46. The syringe 42 has a front mask 45 fixed in one end face and a piston rod 43 projected out of the other end face and a dummy nozzle 41 is attached to the tip end of the rod 43.
