This fluid texturing apparatus for a yarn comprises a fluid texturing device 4, a shielding box 14, having yarn guide holes for an entrance and an exit of the yarn and surrounding the fluid texturing device 4 and suction pipes 10 for fiber wastes capable of sucking and removing the staple fiber wastes produced in the shielding box 14. Furthermore, the shielding box 14 is provided with outside air introduction holes on extension lines connecting suction holes 12 communicating with the suction pipes 10 for the fiber wastes to air jetting regions of the fluid texturing device 4.
