To improve a fluid torque converter which has a pump impeller 2 in a housing 3 and the turbine runner 4 connected to a driven side of a torque converter 1 and in which the turbine damper 5 is arranged between the turbine runner 4 and the driven side of the torque converter 1 and to provide the fluid torque converter in which small structure space is enough, torsion vibration insulation performance is high and manufacturing can be achieved at low cost.
The turbine damper 5 has the first damper part 9 and the second damper part 10, and the first damper part 9 is formed of an input part 6 connected to the turbine runner 4 and a middle flange 11 restrictively rotatable against the action of the first accumulator 12. The second damper part 10 has the middle flange 11 and the output part 8 restrictively rotatable to this second accumulator 13 against the action of at least one second accumulator 13, and the number-of-rotation adaptive type vibration damper 16 is built in the above middle flange 11.
