Abstract:
To provide a fluid transmission device of a structure which easily discharges an ATF.
A torque converter 1 can be connected to a crank shaft 103 and rotated together with the crank shaft 103. The converter comprises a front cover 3 constituting a first hydraulic pressure chamber 10a and a second hydraulic pressure chamber 10b, and a center piece 101 detachably provided at a rotating shaft 60 of the front cover 3. The center piece 101 is engaged with a through-hole 305 of the front cover 3. By removing the center piece 101 therefrom, the ATF can be discharged via the through-hole 305 from the first hydraulic pressure chamber 10a and the second hydraulic pressure chamber 10b.
