Abstract:
To burn low-grade coal stably in a fluidized bed boiler.
In fluidized bed boilers 2, 3, having a plurality of furnaces wherein heat transfer tubes for constituting an evaporator 8, a superheater 11, a reheater 14 and the like are arranged in a fluidized medium 4 in the furnace, while the plurality of furnaces are provided with an air volume control means capable of controlling the flow rate of air independently from other respective furnaces, coal of different kind is burnt in respective furnaces while the combustion gases of respective furnaces are mixed to discharge the same into atmosphere.
