Abstract:

PURPOSE: To process a raw material with a large carbon content which has been hardly processed before by a constitution wherein a catalyst flows down from a fluidized bed of a regeneration part to a fluidized bed of a cooling part through an overflow pipe and it is cooled down and the catalyst is returned from the fluidized bed of the cooling part to the fluidized bed of the regeneration part entrained by the fluidizing gas.

CONSTITUTION: A waste catalyst which has lost its activity caused by adhesion of coke is lowered in a waste catalyst discharging pipe 22 from the lower part of a reaction tower 12 and is entrained by a gas introduced from a riser gas feeding pipe 46 of the reactor and it is elevated in a reaction tower riser 38 and is carried into a regeneration part 14. In the regeneration part 14, adhered coke is burnt by a regeneration reaction and the temp. of the catalyst is elevated and the catalyst at high temp. is lowered in an overflow pipe 58 and is made to enter a cooling part 16, where it is fluidized by a gas introduced from a cooling part fluidizing gas feeding pipe 60 and is cooled down with a cooling water flowing in a cooling pipe 62 while a fluidized bed 64 is formed. The cooled catalyst is elevated by being entrained by the fluidizing gas and is passed through a porous supporting plate 36 and it is joined with the fluidized bed in the regeneration part 14 and is mixed with the catalyst of the fluidized bed to cool the whole fluidized bed.
