To provide an inexpensive, safe and easily operated and maintained fluidized-bed drying and classifying device of a simple structure in which both the degree of dryness and classified particle diameter are controllable while maintaining a well stabilized fluidized bed.
A porous gas diffuser plate 12 is disposed below a fluidized bed 14 in a main body 10, a wind box 16 disposed below a diffuser plate 12 is shaped into a hopper, and a discharger 29 for continuously discharging the particles falling into the wind box 16 is connected to the lower end of the wind box 16. Further, a gas feed system for supplying hot air for drying and fluidization gas acting as a classification gas into the wind box 16 is connected to the wind box 16, and the system is provided with a flow control means for controlling the diameter of classified particles (equivalent to the freeboard flow rate) by adjusting the gas flow rate and a temp. control means for controlling the degree of dryness by adjusting the temp. of the hot gas supplied into the wind box 16 depending on the adjusted gas flow rate.
