To enable improvement of drying efficiency by suppressing poor fluidization of moist fuel in a fluidized bed drying device and a method of examining moist fuel.
A fluidized bed drying device includes a drying container 101 having a raw coal inlet 102 and a dried coal outlet 103, a fluidizing steam supplying section 104 forming a fluidized bed S with the raw coal by supplying fluidizing steam to a lower section of the drying container 101, a heat transfer tube 106 heating the raw coal of the fluidized bed S, partitioning plates 114, 115 dividing the fluidized bed S (S1, S2, S3) into three in the fluidizing direction of the raw coal, and forming raw coal pass opening sections 116, 117 at a lower section, and a guide device 141 capable of inserting a collection jig 171 for taking out the raw coal in the drying container 101 to the external.
