Title:
FLUIDIZED BED FURNACE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3488677
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new fluidized bed furnace suitable for the use of a high-temperature large-diameter fluidized bed furnace, of light-weight, having excellent strength properties and positively making use of a nonfluidic bulk material as a pressure maintaining medium for a fluidized bulk material.
SOLUTION: The fluidized bed furnace comprises reaction gas supplying vertically rising tubes 6 arranged at the bottom thereof, and air diffuser boxes 7, which communicate with the vertically rising tubes 6, horizontally arranged therein. The vertically rising tubes 6 are partially composed of telescopic members 8. The reaction gas is ejected into the furnace through the vertically rising tubes 6 and spaces in the air diffuser boxes 7 to form a fluidized bed 14 on the air diffuser boxes 7. A fluidized bed furnace 1 contains a nonfluidic bulk material 12 on the bottom thereof and the air diffuser boxes 7 are placed on the nonfluidic bulk material 12.
