Abstract:

PURPOSE: To efficiently bring raw materials having a large grain size distribution into reaction.

CONSTITUTION: A housing 24 of a fluidized bed furnace body 21 is internally partitioned by an upper stage dispersion plate 25 and a lower stage dispersion plate 26, by which empty column parts 24a, 24b and a wind box 28 are formed. Particulate iron ore 31 is charged from an iron ore charging pipe 30 into the furnace body. Fine grains 33 are introduced from an upper stage fluidized bed 32 to a cyclone separator 23 and are captured. Coarse grains 34 are transferred via a coarse grain transfer pipe 35 into a lower stage fluidized bed 36. The fine grains captured in the cyclone separator 23 are partly supplied via a circulating pipe 37a into the lower stage fluidized bed 36 as well. The coarse grains are taken out via a coarse grain supply pipe 39. The fine grains are circulated together with a reducing gas again to the lower stage fluidized bed 36 via the lower stage fluidized bed 36, the upper stage fluidized bed 32 and the cyclone separator 23. The fine grains captured in the cyclone separator 23 are partly taken out via a fine grain supply pipe 37b.
