PURPOSE: To enable the temperature of a fluidized bed to be controlled easily within the range of intended values and to prevent the fluid state from hindrance due to sticking and the like of a fluid medium by a method wherein a combustor and the burning state thereof are controlled to adjust the temperature of the fluidized bed at the intended values.
CONSTITUTION: In a fluidized bed type incinerator fuel such as propane charged from a fuel charging line 3 and combusting air charged through an air charging line 6 are burnt, the combustion gas is sent to the fluidized bed 5 to fluidize the fluid medium and to burn waste and the like thrown down from a charging hole 8 under this state. In this case, according to the signals from a temperature regulator 19 due to the temperatures of the fluidized bed through a temperature detector 18 a fuel flow regulating valve 20 is controlled and the temperature of the fluidized bed is maintained so that the fluid medium will not stick fast. When the temperature of the fluidized bed reaches a certain lowest limit, the fuel flow regulating valve 22 becomes open by a signal from the regulator 19 and furthermore, a regulating valve 23 takes a determined opening by a burner ignition signal from a flame detector 26 to ignite a burner 24.
