Title:
FLUIDIZED CATALYTIC CRACKING OF HEAVY OIL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3580518
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for catalytically cracking a heavy oil in a fluidized state, enabling to catalytically crack the heavy oil at a high temperature to obtain a lightweight olefin in a good yield.
SOLUTION: This method for catalytically cracking a heavy oil in a fluidized state comprises bringing the heavy all into contact with a catalyst containing superstabilized Y type zeolite in a fluidized catalytic cracking reaction device having a generation zone, a reaction zone, a separation zone and a stripping zone under conditions comprising a reaction zone exit temperature of 550-700°C, a catalyst/oil ratio of 15-100wt./wt. and a difference of 150-5°C between the temperature of the concentrated catalyst phase of the regeneration zone and the temperature at the exit of the reaction zone.
